I threw this cortado mug on the potters wheel out of a porcelain clay called NZ10.
It was fired upright on seashells.
The surface treatment is a result of 120 hours of firing in an anagama wood kiln.
The interior and lip are glazed with Shino and Rutile.
This piece stands 3.5 inches tall.
It measures 3 to 3.25 inches wide at the opening.
