I threw this cortado mug on the potters wheel out of a porcelain clay called NZ10.
It was fired on its side on seashells.
The surface treatment is a result of 120 hours of firing in an anagama wood kiln.
The interior and lip are glazed with Shino and Rutile.
This piece stands 3.25 inches tall.
It measures 2.75 inches wide at the opening.
