I threw this bottle form on the potters wheel out of a porcelain called NZ10.
The surface treatment is a result of 120 hours of firing in an anagama wood kiln.
I glazed the inside, lip and bottom with Penn State Shino plus 10% rutile.
It was fired on its side on 3 wads.
The wads collected some glassy ash melded with the glaze on one side for added intrigue.
Surface effects are attributed to the ash and flame path taken by the wood burned for fuel.
This piece stands 7 inches tall with the spout.
