Soda Amphora 0001

This Amphora was thrown on the potters wheel.

Press molds of shells were used to construct the handles.

The interior is lined with Sam's Shino.

The exterior was glazed with Laterite.

It was fired on its side on the top shelf in a Soda Kiln at Pottery Northwest.

The piece measures 10.5 inches tall and 7 inches at its widest.
