I threw this bottle form with NZ10 clay on the potters wheel.
I glazed the interior and dipped the top portion and fired it near the coalbed of a firebox.
The glaze is Penn State Shino with 10% rutile added.
This piece was fired in an anagama kiln in for 120 hours.
Surface and glaze effects are exacerbated by the ash and flame pattern caused by the wood burned for fuel.
This vessel stands 5.75 inches tall without the pouring spout.
It measures 3.5 inches wide.
