This skull was thrown on the potters wheel of NZ clay.
When it hardened up a little, I used a harp wire tool to carve out the shape.
Then I fashioned teeth with a fettling knife.
It was fired upside-down on seashells in an anagama for many days.
The 12" porcelaneous stoneware bone was tumble stacked near the middle firebox.
Skull measures 7"x 6"x 8".
