This mug was thrown on the potters wheel of Newcomb clay and trimmed by hand.

Then I applied a layer of FC Ball slip to the exterior.

The interior was lined with AW2 (1 part blue/4 parts clear).

It was side-fired on seashells for 30+ hours in a wood/soda kiln.

Look how drastic and exciting the variation in effects are.

The mug measures 4.5 inches tall and holds 12 oz.
