This mug was thrown and altered on the wheel of White Rose clay.

I trimmed it by hand.

It was fired in an anagama for days and days.

Note the colorful flashing and crystal growth where ash accumulated!

The alterations really worked to accentuate the contrasts between exposed features and hidden nooks.

This mug measures just over 4 inches in height, and holds at least 12 oz.
