This plate was thrown and trimmed on the wheel of Welmer clay.
It was fired in a stack of plates for days in an anagama kiln.
The flashing is so soft and inviting of a meal on this one.
The edge for more than half the lip developed heavier, glittery ash as well.
The rings of flash on the bottom are quite Neapolitan.
The plate measures 9.5 inches wide.
