Woodfired Porcelain Vase

I threw this vase with NZ10 clay on the potters wheel.

I glazed the interior and dipped the top portion in glaze.

The glaze is Penn State Shino with 10% rutile added.

This piece was fired in an anagama kiln in for 120 hours.

Surface and glaze effects form when ash and flame pass over the pot during firing.

This vase stands 6 inches tall.

It measures 4 inches wide at the widest.
