I threw this Armour on the potters wheel in 3 sections of Newcomb Tile Mix. I wedged a healthy amount of Ceramic Rutile into the clay body itself. I sculpted the tall cylinder on the wheel into the form you see here. The piece was fired in the old Chicken Cat wood/soda kiln at East Creek. it measures 13 inches wide x 11 inches deep x 16 inches tall.
