Armour of Atlantis II

I threw this Armour on the potters wheel in 3 sections of Welmar clay.

I wedged a healthy amount of Ceramic Rutile into the clay body itself.

I sculpted the tall cylinder on the wheel into the form you see here.

It was fired on its belly on seashells in the old Chicken Cat wood/soda kiln at East Creek.

it measures 13 inches wide x 10 inches deep x 18 inches tall.
