This bowl was thrown and trimmed on the wheel of NZ clay.
It was fired upside down in an anagama for many days.
What a beautiful example of what this clay can do.
Where the ash collects, it presents as blue glass.
In the more shielded areas the sandy flash appears.
The bowl measures 5 inches wide.
