This bowl was thrown and trimmed on the wheel of Marbled porcelaneous stoneware clay.
It was fired upside down in an anagama for many days.
Rivulets cascade to the lip on the smammered side.
NZ inclusions rise from the background like snow capped mountains.
Ash snuck up inside as well, and left its orange peel deposits.
Note the collection in the hand-carved foot as well.
The bowl measures between 7 and 8 inches wide.
