This bowl was thrown, altered and trimmed on the potters wheel of Newcomb clay.

It was lined with a crawling shino and fired in an anagama for many days.

The alterations, crawling, and surface effects work together well. 

There is some blistering below the lip on the outside, so there is a discounted price here.

The opening of this bowl measures 10.5 inches.
