I threw this bottle on the potters wheel with a porcelaneous stoneware.
Then I threw each barnacle, and attached it to the bottle.
It was fired in a wood/soda kiln for 30+ hours.
I love how the bottle exhibits the gentle dusting of wood ash on the bare shoulder, as well as the dark, carbon trapped soda ash field on the barnacle side.
This is an exciting piece.
It measures 9 inches tall, and under 6 at its widest.
