This is a banger of a blate.

It is wheelthrown of Welmar clay, and measures 8 inches wide.

There is such amazing ash buildup, and crystals within. 

Note the darkness in the ash highlighting a ring of flashing, and hugging the edge of some surface crystal growth.

Note also the swervy nature of the shell marks' comet trails.

I fitted this blate with hanging hardware should its majesty require wall space.
