This 7 shell screamer was thrown and trimmed on the potters wheel of Mac10 clay.

This is also where my love affair with Mac10 clay began. 

Just look at the shining, blue/green field of ash catching crystal growth.

The flashing on the more bare clay body is so soft and inviting, with a range of warmer colors to sooth the icy blue/green.

Inside the foot ring I brushed a flashing shino slip for added crackly intrigue.

From top to bottom this wide-rim, 10 inch plate performs.
