This 7 shell plate was thrown and trimmed on the potters wheel of Mac10 clay.

This is also where my love affair with Mac10 clay began. 

Just look at the dynamic surface!

The flashing on the more bare clay body is so soft and inviting,

and in creeps the shiny ice blue with its crystals and silica inclusions.

From top to bottom this double lipped 10 inch plate performs.

There is also some tasteful chattering upon the upper surface.
