This is an extruded and slab built piece of Welmar clay.
It was dunked in "shino flashing slip" and atomized with rutile.
The piece spent many days in an anagama.
Where the heavy ash meets the golden layer of flash you can see crystals have formed.
At its tallest this piece measures 5.5 inches.
It is suitable as a multi-chamber vase.
