This is a wheel-thrown, extruded, and altered piece of Welmar clay.

I pressed coral fossil molds selectively upon some of the flat surfaces.

It is dunked in "shino flashing slip" and atomized with rutile.

It was fired in an anagama for many days.

At its tallest this piece measures 9.5 inches.

It is suitable as a vase.

A couple chips of the most crackle of slipped zones came off, hence the discount.
