I threw this blate of NZ clay on the potters wheel.

The shell markings make a perfect accompaniment to the sand colored flashing.

And this clay is the perfect canvas for bright, blue ash to trap dark carbon.

This blate measures just over 7.5 inches wide.

I love how the wood ash creeps through the shell marks.
