This bowl was thrown on the potters wheel of Newcomb Tile Mix with an ungodly amount of ceramic rutile wedged into its body.
It is lined with Penn State Shino.
Just behind the bagwall from the firebox of a catenary wood/soda kiln the bowl was fired to cone 12.
The heat and atmosphere allowed the rutile to burst forth and gush down the sides of this one of a kind piece.
It measures 7 inches wide, and 3.5+ tall.
And holds a full meal.
