This large moon shape was thrown and altered on the potters wheel.
The clay is Bedrock from Clay Art Center Tacoma.
I wedged a lot of Ceramic Rutile into the clay body itself.
Its amazing how the clay let loose right behind the Bagwall in the old Chicken Cat Wood/Soda kiln at East Creek.
The moon measures 7 inches tall & 13 inches wide.
