I threw this woodfired chawan on the potters wheel of White Rose clay. It was lined with a Penn State Shino containing 10% rutile. This short, footed cup was fired in an anagama upright on seashells for days. A pool of glass from the accumulation of wood ash pooled about one of the shells, elevating this cup. It measures 3 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide.
