Skull & Two 1/2 Bones

This skull was thrown on the potters wheel of Mac10 clay.
When it hardened up a little, I used a harp wire tool to carve out the shape.
Then I fashioned tooth sockets with a wooden knife.
It was fired upside-down on seashells in a wood/soda kiln for 30+ hours.
The 1/2 bones were tumble stacked near the middle firebox in an anagama.
One is NZ clay, the other porcelaneous stoneware. Each measures 7".
They work perfectly in this arrangement.
Skull measures 6"x 5"x 7".
