This plate was thrown and trimmed on the wheel of NZ clay.
It was fired in a stack of plates for days in an anagama kiln.
Note the carbon trapping and speckled flashing about the wads.
They are comet-like on the bottom.
There is an extra special peachy blush to this one.
The plate measures 6.5 inches wide.
