This 5 wad plate was thrown on the potters wheel of B-mix clay. Fired for days in the anagama in a stack of side plates. The top offers crystal growth in multiple fields of flashing. The bottom got slammed with ash, and achieved ultimate darkness. It measures 8 inches wide.
