Sparkle Glitter Shino Vase

I threw this pot of Coleman Porcelain on the potters wheel.

I trimmed the foot by hand.

It is glazed with a shino slip.

Someone sent me a picture of the bucket.

It really did its job on this one!

The vase was fired for 30+ hours in a wood/soda kiln.

The smooth flash gradient is just as stunning on the other side.

Look at the cascading flow of crystal laden ash on the heavy side.

The vase is 9 inches tall and under 7 at its widest.

This is fit to be a centerpiece.
