This vase was thrown as a cylinder on the potters wheel and faceted with a wire tool.
It is Newcomb clay with FC Ball slip applied completely.
Rutile was atomized about the lip of the piece.
It was fired in a wood/soda kiln for 30+ hours.
The vase measures 12 inches tall and 4.5 at its widest.
