Woodfired Stoneware Vase

I threw this vase with stoneware clay on the potters wheel.

I used Shino glaze to aid in decoration.

This piece was fired in an anagama kiln in for 120 hours.

Surface and glaze effects form when ash and flame pass over the pot during firing.

This vase stands 9.25 inches tall.

It measures 5.25 inches at the widest.
